Every great legacy begins with a vision. For Raj Opticians, that vision began on 11 April 1967, when Shri L. R. Bewal, a distinguished retired Army officer, embarked on a new mission after dedicating his earlier years to the service of the nation.
Guided by the discipline, integrity and commitment instilled through his military career, Shri L. R. Bewal established a spectacle lens manufacturing unit in Jacumpura, Gurugram, under the name Raj Opticians. What began as a focused effort to provide quality vision solutions soon evolved into a trusted name built on precision, craftsmanship and an uncompromising commitment to customer care.
At a time when professional optical services and quality eyewear were far less accessible than they are today, Raj Opticians set out to make reliable vision care available to the people of Gurugram. The foundation was simple yet powerful: honest advice, quality products, technical expertise and lasting relationships.
